Here are a few tips on how to cut your wait short and keep your resume more chances to appear while employers search for the resumes. SUBMIT YOUR FULL RESUME

Many candidates only provide their basic details like functional area, work experience etc. If you submit your full resume covering your career objective, past work experience (Names of Previous employers, nature of responsibilities), achievements, skills along with basic information like functional area, number of years of experience, current location, preferred locations, educational qualifications etc., then an employer is much more likely to call you for an interview.

UPDATE YOUR RESUME FREQUENTLY

A Sales professional may choose from : Sales, Concept Selling, Institutional Sales, Retail Sales, Services, Key Account Management, Distribution, Business Development etc.

A Software Programmer may choose from : C, C++, Java, Perl, VC++, VB, COBOL, WML, XML, HTML, DHTML, Activex, ASP, COM/DCOM, CGI, Perl, Web Servers, Lotus Domino Unix, Linux, HP/UX, Solaris,Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, IBM, etc.

The keywords given above are just examples and you could use any keyword.
